Nokia Lumia

Nokia Lumia is a series of touch-based Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 smartphones that debuted in 2011.

The first four Nokia Lumia devices -- the 610, 710, 800 and 900 -- ran Windows Phone 7. In September 2012, Microsoft and Nokia announced the Lumia 820 and the Lumia 920, which will run the Windows Phone 8 operating system.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is a high-end smartphone that features a 4.5-inch display with 1280 by 768 resolution. The Nokia Lumia 820 is a mid-range smartphone with a 4.3-inch screen and 800 by 480 resolution. It is smaller but thicker than the 920. Both Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices run on a dual-core, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 mobile application processor, and they also feature micro-USB connectors and near-field communication (NFC) technology, plus Long Term Evolution  (LTE) connectivity.
