Windows Live SkyDrive is a free online file storage system from Microsoft. With this service,
users can store and share documents, photos and links. For Windows Live SkyDrive security, the
hosted storage is password protected. Windows Live online
storage allows users to access their files from anywhere with an Internet connection, including
on mobile devices. With Windows Live file sharing, users can also choose which files they want to
share with contacts, make public or just keep private. You can control the permissions in Windows
Live online storage to regulate who can view and/or edit shared documents.
Windows Live SkyDrive provides 25 GB of free storage, with a limit of 100 MB for individual
files. The service also integrates with Windows
Live Hotmail so users can upload Microsoft Office documents from Hotmail to Windows Live
SkyDrive.
