The last few years have not been kind to Research In Motion, to say the least.
As Research In Motion (RIM) holds its annual BlackBerry World conference this week in Orlando, Fla., more people are talking about the company’s long-term
viability than about its products and services. The once-dominant mobile device manufacturer -- popular in IT for its robust email, messaging and security features -- continues to struggle against the more user-friendly iPhone and Android devices. It’s up to new RIM CEO Thorsten Heins to convince customers, shareholders and the general public that BlackBerry is on the rebound, but it will be an uphill climb, as this infographic shows:
